IGNOU open MAT entrance exam is the test conducted by IGNOU(Indira Gandhi open university) for admission in various management programs of IGNOU. Admission to the MBA, Diploma in Management, PGDIM and Post Graduate Diplomas in HRM, FM, OM, and MM, is done on the basis of the score obtained in the OPENMAT.

IGNOU open MAT exams are conducted all over India twice a year as per IGNOU open MAT schedule. Here it is required to be mentioned that the candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance test for admission into Management Programme conducted by institutions like CAT, MAT and State level tests need not appear in OPENMAT).

IGNOU MAT Exam SCORE Candidates who have qualified for admission on the basis of the score obtained in the IGNOU MAT exam will be eligible to take admission into Management Programme in any of the subsequent semesters.	Admission are offered to all those attaining the cut off score and above, subject to their fulfilling other eligibility criteria. After the conduction of IGNOU open MAT entrance a result card will be sent to all the candidates appearing in the OPENMAT examination. It will indicate whether the candidate has qualified or not qualified for admission on the basis of cut-off score as decided by the University.
